SYNTH WAVE LIVE 2 Announces 2018 Line-up

Celebrating the second anniversary of Artefaktor Radio, SYNTH WAVE LIVE 2 will take place on Saturday 7th April 2018 at Electrowerkz in London. Headlining the event will be Irish synthpop trio TINY MAGNETIC PETS. Also making the journey over from Europe to perform at SYNTH WAVE LIVE 2 will be German songstress KATJA VON KASSEL, Sweden synth trio VOGON POETRY, Norwegian post-punk comdo ANTIPOLE and Denmark’s SOFTWAVE who played the inaugural event. TEC’s 2017 End Of Year Review

The world found itself in a rather antagonistic and divisive state this year, as if none of the lessons from the 20th Century’s noted conflicts and stand-offs had been learnt. After a slow start to 2017, there was a bumper crop of new music from a number of established artists. Overall, it was artists of a more mature disposition who held their heads high and delivered, as some newer acts went out of their way to test the patience of audiences by drowning them in sleep while coming over like TRAVIS on VSTs. Featuring a collection of music “Since the beginning until now” ranging from “Synth, electronica, electro, synthpop, techno”, the station is the brainchild of Renato Moyssén. VILE+NIGHT CLUB 2015A fine line-up of electronic acts was assembled at Camden’s Dublin Castle for a Trans-Atlantic showcase of the best in modern synthpop. And when the line-up is right, the luminaries come along and join in the fun.
